‘The Secret’ ~Creative Tips For The Life You Want!

Here are some interesting ideas from ‘The Secret Daily Teaching’ : “Be creative & use powerful actions in line with what you want. If you want to attract the perfect partner, then make room in your closet. If you want to attract a new house, then tidy up your current house so it is ready for easy packing. If you want to take a trip then get out your suitcases, surround yourself with pictures of the location, & put yourself in the pictures. Think about what you would do if you had your desire, & then take creative actions that make it clear you are receiving it now.” ~Rhonda Byrne From ‘The Secret’

Each Day Is A Gift by Paula Finn

EACH DAY IS A GIFT

A gift of time…

With which to create,

To build, to give, to grow,

To live simply-

Simply, to live…

A gift of opportunity…

To listen, and to really hear-

To touch,

And to really feel-

To reach out

To the soul of another,

To connect more deeply

With your own…

To be open, to be free,

To be you…

A gift of beauty…

An invitation to enjoy

The blessings of nature-

The warmth of sunshine,

Or the freshness of rain…

The stillness of the mountains,

Or the passion of the sea…

To recognize the miracles

In everyday things,

And the magic in everyone…

A gift of hope…

That gray skies will grow sunny,

Rain clouds will bring rainbows,

Stars will shine brighter,

And dreams will come true…

A gift of life,

And all of its goodness-

Each day… is a gift of love.

Marianne Williamson Poem ‘Our Deepest Fear’

Please check out this wonderful You Tube Clip: Marianne Williamson \’Our Deepest Fear poem,

Our Deepest Fear
By Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.

We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us;
It’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we’re liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

The Seven Blunders Of The World

The Seven Blunders of the World is a list that Gandhi gave to his grandson Arun Gandhi, written on a piece of paper, on their final day together, shortly before his assassination.

The seven blunders are:
* Wealth without work.
* Pleasure without conscience.
* Knowledge without character.
* Commerce without morality.
* Science without humanity.
* Worship without sacrifice.
* Politics without principle.

Be Your Own Best Friend

How do you attract a true friend, one who will help you on your path to build the strongest heart, create the deepest character, and nurture the greatest self-respect? Avoid wasting time with people who do not help you better yourself, who only distract you from feelings of loneliness. Use your solitude as the most valuable time to forge your self-identity and become your own best friend, the person you once dreamed of finding.  This path requires self-reliance and patience, while the easy way, the way of superficial friends, is paved with insecurity and impatience.  As you progress in this magnificent and arduous spiritual evolution, you will develop a rock-solid foundation of happiness beyond your wildest dreams and thus, naturally, attract true friendship. ~From Taro Gold

The Charter For Compassion

Please watch the You Tube Video Version of The Charter For Compassion and Please Share!
THE CHARTER FOR COMPASSION
The principle of compassion lies at the heart of all religious, ethical and spiritual traditions, calling us always to treat all others as we wish to be treated ourselves. Compassion impels us to work tirelessly to alleviate the suffering of our fellow creatures, to dethrone ourselves from the center of our world and put another there, and to honor the inviolable sanctity of every single human being, treating everybody, without exception, with absolute justice, equity and respect.
It is also necessary in both public and private life to refrain consistently and empathically from inflicting pain. To act or speak violently out of spite, chauvinism, or self-interest, to impoverish, exploit or deny basic rights to anybody, and to incite hatred by denigrating others—even our enemies—is a denial of our common humanity. We acknowledge that we have failed to live compassionately and that some have even increased the sum of human misery in the name of religion.
We therefore call upon all men and women ~ to restore compassion to the center of morality and religion ~ to return to the ancient principle that any interpretation of scripture that breeds violence, hatred or disdain is illegitimate ~ to ensure that youth are given accurate and respectful information about other traditions, religions and cultures ~ to encourage a positive appreciation of cultural and religious diversity ~ to cultivate an informed empathy with the suffering of all human beings—even those regarded as enemies.
We urgently need to make compassion a clear, luminous and dynamic force in our polarized world. Rooted in a principled determination to transcend selfishness, compassion can break down political, dogmatic, ideological and religious boundaries. Born of our deep interdependence, compassion is essential to human relationships and to a fulfilled humanity. It is the path to enlightenment, and indispensible to the creation of a just economy and a peaceful global community.
