Worldwide Women’s Support Circle was created in 2012, when Rose Winstanley-Trefz, recognized the tremendous need for raising awareness about the global issues facing the female gender. Through attempting to empower, inspire and inform women globally with the Worldwide Women’s Support Circle Facebook page and group, WWSC has brought together hundreds of women from everywhere on earth. As women are connecting globally on an unprecedented scale, we have begun to deepen our potential for transforming the world together. We are finally able to relate to each other as sisters in a way that moves beyond manmade, cultural, and geographical boundaries.
Studies show that when women are empowered, they become strong leaders of their families and communities. If we are to heal the many issues facing our planet, and if humanity is to evolve, it will only be when the female gender is free of oppression, abuse, and violence.
As we face global issues such as human rights abuses, poverty, lack of education, human trafficking, rape, honor killings, female genital cutting, and so many other vehicles of oppression, we are able to work on empowering solutions which are crucial for change.
When the female gender is freed, humanity has a chance to evolve in positive ways. By addressing the deep imbalance of power between the sexes, we can unlock and harness the enormous potential of women’s collective strength, intellect, creativity, and wisdom.
Thanks to current technology and social media, women now have a voice. As our sisters open their hearts to one another and we nurture our friendships with women around the planet, we are shining the light of awareness on the most critical issues that undermine the strength of our planet’s most precious resource: our girls and women.
As Worldwide Women’s Support Circle and other grassroots organizations work to empower the female gender, humanity will have unlimited potential as we face many critical global issues and work to heal and transform them together. We now have the opportunity to rise above the issues that have been plaguing our planet for centuries and future generations will reap the benefits of our hard work.
